Chris Carson out for Seahawks; Tyler Lockett, Kyle Fuller active

Minnesota Vikings v Seattle Seahawks

Running back Chris Carson will miss a fourth straight game due to a mid-foot sprain suffered in the last game between the Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals.

Carson and Travis Homer (wrist/knee/thumb) will both miss the game as Carlos Hyde appears set to start his first game for the team. Hyde is returning from a three-game absence due to hamstring strain sustained in the late stages of the last meeting with the Cardinals.

With Carson and Homer out, the Seahawks elevated running back Bo Scarbrough from the practice squad for additional depth. Alex Collins, who started last week's game against the Los Angeles Rams, had used up his two free practice squad elevations. If Seattle elevated him again, he would go on waivers immediately after the game. So Scarbrough gets the nod instead.

Seattle signed cornerback Jayson Stanley to their active roster on Thursday as Shaquill Griffin (hamstring), Quinton Dunbar (knee) and Neiko Thorpe (sports hernia) are all out. Dunbar and Thorpe were placed on injured reserve as guard Phil Haynes was activated from injured reserve and Stanley promoted to take their spots. Dunbar can return after three weeks but Thorpe is done for season after landing on the reserve list for a second time.

Defensive tackle Damon "Snacks" Harrison was also elevated from the practice squad along with Scarbrough to help along the defensive line. This would be his second elevation from the practice squad.

Starting center Ethan Pocic is out for a second game due to a concussion. Backup Kyle Fuller was listed as questionable due to a high-ankle sprain but is active and will be in uniform. Jamarco Jones and Haynes are the reserve options at center. One of whom could get the start if Fuller isn't able to because of his injury.

Fuller and wide receiver Tyler Lockett (knee) were both listed as questionable but both will be available against the Cardinals.

Backup guard Jordan Simmons is also out with a calf strain. Haynes and Jones are available to handle the backup guard duties should Mike Iupati or Damien Lewis run into any issues.

Healthy scratches for Seattle are defensive end Jonathan Bullard and tight end Colby Parkinson.

Linebacker De'Vondre Campbell (calf) and tight end Maxx Williams (ankle) are both active for the Cardinals after being listed as questionable to play.

Defensive linemen Corey Peters (knee) and Jordan Phillips (hamstring) were both placed on injured reserve after being ruled out. Peters will miss the rest of the season for Arizona. The Cardinals elevated defensive lineman Michael Dogbe from the practice squad to help with their depth up front.

Arizona is short-handed up front as as Chandler Jones, Zach Allen, Leki Fotu, and Rashard Lawrence are also on injured reserve.

Safety Charles Washington (groin), tight end Darrell Daniels (ankle) and offensive lineman Justin Murray (hand) are out with injuries for Arizona.
