SEATTLE -- Right guard D.J. Fluker and strong safety Bradley McDougald are both active for the Seahawks for Sunday night's matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs despite being questionable to play due to injuries.

Fluker and McDougald had both been questionable to play due to hamstring and knee injuries, respectively. Fluker had missed the previous two games due to a strained hamstring sustained in the team's first meeting with the San Francisco 49ers. McDougald was unable to finish last week's game against the 49ers due to patella tendonitis that required off-site treatment this week.

While Fluker and McDougald are active, it's still uncertain whether their injuries will allow them to play the entire game. But with Tedric Thompson out due to a chest injury and Jordan Simmons going to injured reserve this week, depth issues at safety and offensive line aren't as staggering with Fluker and McDougald available.

Right tackle Germain Ifedi is out due to a groin injury sustained in practice on Thursday.

With Thompson out, it's likely that McDougald and Delano Hill will be the starting safeties. It would be Hill's first career start for Seattle.

Fluker is active but will not start, per G.M. John Schneider on the team's radio broadcast. Ethan Pocic will start at right guard in Fluker's place. With Ifedi out, George Fant will get his first start at right tackle. With Fant in an every down role, it could also limit Seattle's ability to use six offensive linemen.

Running back Rashaad Penny (knee) is the only other player out due to injury. Cornerback Kalan Reed, running back Bo Scarbrough, defensive tackle Nazair Jones and defensive end Branden Jackson are healthy scratches.

Linebacker K.J. Wright is also active and expected to play on a snap count after missing the last five games and 11 overall this season due to a knee injury.

The Chiefs will be without cornerback Kendall Fuller, who was questionable to play due to a thumb injury that required surgery earlier this week. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins (foot) and running back Spencer Ware (hamstring) are also out due to injuries.

Safety Ron Parker is a healthy scratch for the Chiefs, indicating Eric Berry should be on track for a full workload tonight after playing only a half a week ago as he returns from an Achilles tear.

Guard Khalil McKenzie, center Jimmy Murray and tight end Deon Yelder and also healthy scratches for Kansas City.
