According to Sports Radio KJR's Mariners Reporter, Curtis Crabtree, at about 3:30 p.m. a fight broke out in the Mariners clubhouse, while the media was waiting to speak with Manager Scott Servais. Mariners Second-Baseman Dee Gordon then asked reporters to kindly leave the clubhouse right before the fight reportedly occurred.

Servais responded to the situation and said it is fairly common in clubhouses with players being together for several months.
“Things happens in a clubhouse. You’re talking about 25, or in this case 35, of the most competitive guys you’re ever going to be around... our guys are working through the situation. ... it’s unfortunate but it’s something that happens.” - Scott Servais https://t.co/05hNtocsnP— Curtis Crabtree (@Curtis_Crabtree) September 4, 2018
