Manager takes home run trot... After ejection

posted by Adam Loewy -

Mariners fans remember the days when Lou Piniella threw bases down the line, kicked dirt on home plate, and barked so loud at umpires you could hear it from the stands.

Independent League Chicago Dogs Manager Butch Hobson might take cake for one of the most creative baseball tirades of all time.  After Hobson's ejection from the game yesterday, the manager pretended to hit a home run and trot around the bases.

Hobson is no stranger to the dramatics either. Just a few weeks ago after an ejection, he picked up third base and handed the base to a fan in the stands.

🔥 Dogs Manager Butch Hobson made national headlines with this "gift" to a young fan 🔥 Here's YOUR chance to be part od history! During Saturday's game, Butch will present an autographed Impact Field third base to a lucky Dogs fan! 🎫 For tickets - click HERE: https://thechicagodogs.com/tickets/
