Seahawks place Kam Chancellor on injured reserve, waive Mark Glowinski

Kansas City Chiefs v Seattle Seahawks

RENTON -- The Seahawks made a handful of roster moves ahead of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Seattle placed strong safety Kam Chancellor on injured reserve, waived guard Mark Glowinski, and promoted linebacker Kache Palacio and cornerback Mike Tyson from their practice squad.

Chancellor wasn't expected to play again this season due to a neck injury sustained against the Arizona Cardinals in November. He had remained on the roster for weeks for salary cap purposes.

Glowinski started 16 games at left guard last season for Seattle and the first two games of this season at right guard before losing his starting job to Oday Aboushi. He was a fourth-round pick of the Seahawks in 2015.

The promotion of Palacio provides Seattle with additional depth at linebacker as K.J. Wright is doubtful to play Sunday due to a concussion and Bobby Wagner is questionable with a hamstring strain. Palacio has spent significant time on the team's practice squad over the last two seasons and been a part of their offseason roster each year.

Tyson was a sixth-round pick in May's NFL draft and has spent the entire season on the team's practice squad. Byron Maxwell and Justin Coleman each were listed on the injury report with shoulder issues this week and Tyson could serve as additional depth.
