Fresh off the first Super Bowl title in franchise history, the Seattle Seahawks have already turned their focus to next season.

The Seahawks announced the signings of nine players to future contracts for the 2014-15 season.

Seattle signed CB Akeem Auguste, WR Phil Bates, DT Michael Brooks, DT Dewayne Cherrington, WR Arceto Clark, QB B.J. Daniels, TE Cooper Helfet, DT D'Anthony Smith and G Jared Smith to new contracts.

If those names all seem familiar, it's because they are. All nine players were members of Seattle's practice squad at the end of the season. Jared Smith was placed on the practice squad injured reserve list in October. The remaining eight were on the roster for the end of the season.

Brooks, Daniels and D'Anthony Smith all spent time on Seattle's active roster this season. While Daniels never appeared in a game, Brooks and Smith both saw limited action. Smith played in the first two games of the season against the Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers. Brooks played in one game against the Atlanta Falcons.
