Over the weekend, new Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano had some pretty candid comments about what the M's need to add.
"I'm not going to lie. We need an extra bat, especially a right-handed bat. We have many left-handed hitters. We need at least one more righty."
Cano added: "If it was up to me, we'd have [Ervin] Santana, [Nelson] Cruz and Ubaldo [Jimenze]. That's really more for the front office."
So, the question is, how much say does Cano have and how much weight does his opinion carry especially after he signed a $240 million dollar contract?
