Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin joined Furness and Puckett on Wednesday from the teams mandatory minicamp to discuss all things Seahawks, including probably the most important story line, the return of running back Marshawn Lynch.
In addition to the Lynch story line, Baldwin was very candid with his comments about the current situation with the Washington Redskins.
On Wednesday, the United States Patent and Trademark Office declared that the Redskins have lost their patent license and other entities will be able to use their name for profit.
Never shy of any subject, Baldwin weighed in on the subject when asked if the NFL should step in and force owner Dan Snyder to chance the name.
"If it were up to me, I'd have them change the name."
Under the ruling there is nothing that can force Snyder to change the name. The hope is that financially it hurts him so much that it ultimately forces him to change it on his own.
