Four Primetime Games and Five 2012 Playoff Teams

Highlight 2013 Season

Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks 2013 schedule was announced today by the National Football League. The schedule features the Seahawks in two Monday Night Football games for the first time since 2006, a Sunday Night Football game and a Thursday Night Football game. Seattle's four nationally televised games are the most since having five in 2006.

The first nationally televised game takes place Week 2 as Seattle hosts Super Bowl XLVII runner-up and NFC West rival San Francisco on NBC's Sunday Night Football on September 15. The Seahawks then have back-to-back nationally televised road games against division rivals Arizona on NFL Network's Thursday Night Football (10/17) and St. Louis on ESPN's Monday Night Football (10/28). Seattle rounds out its primetime schedule with a Week 13 matchup vs. the New Orleans Saints on Monday night (12/2). The Seahawks have won six Monday Night Football games in a row and their .692 winning percentage on Monday night is tops in the NFL.

The schedule has six contests against 2012 playoff contenders, including home games facing Super Bowl XLVII runner-up San Francisco, the Minnesota Vikings, and games vs. the AFC South and NFC South.

Seattle travels to Carolina for the second-consecutive season as it opens the season on September 8 in Charlotte. Following the 49ers game, and a home game facing the Jacksonville Jaguars (9/22), Seattle faces a stretch of four of five games on the road beginning with back-to-back road games at Houston (9/29) and at Indianapolis (10/6), both 2012 AFC playoff teams, and nationally televised games at Arizona and at St. Louis. Sandwiched in between is a home game vs. the Tennessee Titans on October 13.

The last half of the schedule features five of eight games at CenturyLink Field, including the NFL's latest bye week in Week 12. Seattle hosts Tampa Bay (11/3), travels to Atlanta (11/10) in a re-match of last season's NFC Divisional Playoff Game and faces Minnesota (11/17) before its bye week, returning on Monday night against New Orleans.

The Seahawks close the season with three division rivals in the last four games for the third straight year. Seattle heads south to San Francisco (12/8), then hosts Arizona (12/22) and St. Louis (12/29) with its longest trip of the year heading east to face the N.Y. Giants on December 15.

With 85 consecutive sellouts, and a franchise-high 98% season ticket renewal rate, fans interested in season tickets can make a $100 deposit to become a member of Blue Pride, guaranteeing a spot in line to purchase season tickets when they become available. Q13 FOX will carry all preseason games in the Seattle area except at Green Bay (8/23), which will be televised nationally on CBS. For regions outside the Puget Sound area, check seahawks.com for a list of Seahawks Television Network affiliate stations.
