Andrew Andrews registered 16 points, nine rebounds and four assists for Washington (16-13, 8-8 Pac-12), which has won back-to-back games. Perris Blackwell chipped in 10 points for the hosts.
DaVonte Lacy scored a game-high 25 points as WSU (9-19, 2-14) extended its season-long losing streak to seven games. D.J. Shelton (seven points) missed all 10 of his attempts from 3-point range but managed to pull down 15 rebounds.
Washington took a comfortable 36-24 lead at halftime after shooting 54.2 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes, including 4-of-7 from 3- point range. WSU made good on just 39.1 percent of its tries from the floor in the first half.
The trends continued in the second stanza, with the Huskies shooting 48.1 percent from the field and the Cougars regressing to a mere 22.7 percent, as Washington pulled away for the easy 23-point victory.
Washington held a firm 39-27 advantage on the glass and outscored WSU in the paint, 32-18.
