SEATTLE - WR Percy Harvin is active for Saturday's Divisional Round playoff game with the New Orleans Saints.

That was expected.

OL Michael Bowie will start at left guard in place of G Paul McQuistan and G James Carpenter.

That wasn't expected.

Bowie received the bulk of the work at left guard with the first-team offense this week in practice. It will be his first start on the left side of the offensive line this season

Bowie started seven games this season at right tackle in place of T Breno Giacomini and one game at right guard in place of G J.R. Sweezy in Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals.

The left guard position has been one of the biggest weaknesses for Seattle's team this season. Carpenter and McQuistan have been in a time share at the position ever since McQuistan moved back inside to guard. McQuistan started eight games at left tackle in place of an injured T Russell Okung.

However, there has been struggles throughout no matter who has been in the lineup.

Carpenter struggles to move in space and McQuistan can be physically overmatched. It's left Seattle to go in search of an answer for the start of the postseason.

S Chris Maragos is active for Seattle after being listed as questionble with a back injury.
