MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Jabari Blash collected three hits and Logan Morrison homered as the Tacoma Rainiers fell to the Memphis Redbirds 7-4 at AutoZone Park on Tuesday.

Blash ended the night 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI, including a two-run double in the top of the fifth inning that gave the Rainiers a brief 4-3 lead. Earlier Morrison cut Tacoma's 3-1 deficit down to one run with a solo shot in the fourth - his third home run in 18 rehab appearances with the Rainiers this season.

Tacoma fell behind in the bottom of the fifth inning and stayed there after surrendering three runs on four hits. Jermaine Curtis hit a game-tying RBI single before Audry Perez drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly. Shane Robinson stretched the Redbirds lead to two runs with another RBI single to close out the frame.

The Rainiers lineup combined to collect a total of nine hits, led by Blash's three-hit night. In his first start since going on the disabled list with a broken finger on May 15, infielder Chris Taylor went 1-for-3 with a double and a run. Catcher Humberto Quintero hit a run-scoring single in the fourth and ended the game 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Starter Matt Palmer (1-3) was dealt the loss after surrendering six runs - five earned - on seven hits in 5.0 innings. Relievers Clay Rapada (2.0) and Brandon Coffey (1.0) combined to allow one unearned on two hits beginning in the sixth.

The Rainiers (26-38) play the third game of a four-game series at Memphis (32-33) at 5:05 p.m. tomorrow, June 11. Right-hander Andrew Carraway (2-4, 4.61) is expected to start for Tacoma against Redbirds right-hander Scott McGregor (1-6, 6.22).
