T-Birds set to play 7 exhibition games in preparation for regular season

KENT, June 24, 2014 - The Seattle Thunderbirds are pleased to announce their 2014-2015 Preseason Schedule.

The Thunderbirds will play seven exhibition games prior to the start of the 2014-2015 regular season.

To start the preseason matchups, the T-Birds will play in the Everett Silvertips' preseason tournament at Comcast Arena. The first game will be Friday, August 29, at 11:30 a.m. against the Tri-City Americans. Tournament play will continue with games on Saturday, August 30, at 3 p.m. against the Victoria Royals. The tournament concludes Sunday, August 31, at 3 p.m. against the Spokane Chiefs.

The T-Birds next preseason appearance will be in Kennewick at the Red Lion Hotels' Preseason Tournament at the Toyota Center. The T-Birds will play the Spokane Chiefs on Thursday, September 4, at 3 p.m. and face the Everett Silvertips on Friday, September 5, at 11 a.m.

The T-Birds will conclude their preseason schedule with a home-and-home series against the Everett Silvertips. The first game will be played at Comcast Arena on Friday, September 12, at 7:35 p.m. On Saturday, September 13, at 7:05 p.m., the T-Birds will host the Silvertips at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

T-Birds single game tickets for home preseason game will go on sale August 20 online on the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office.

The full 2014-15 regular season schedule for the Seattle Thunderbirds will be announced Wednesday, June 25.
