RENTON - The Seattle Seahawks have officially signed another member of their 2014 draft class.

T Justin Britt announced via his Twitter account that he has signed his rookie deal with the team. Per league rules, it is a four-year contract for Britt.

Britt is the sixth of Seattle's nine draft picks to sign with the team. Both of the team's second-round picks are now under contract as WR Paul Richardson signed his deal on Tuesday.

In addition, the team announced Thursday afternoon they also signed sixth-round T Garrett Scott to his rookie contract, also a four-year deal.

Fourth-round WR Kevin Norwood and fourth-round LB Kevin Pierre-Louis remain unsigned.

Scott had not yet passed a physical to participate in last week's rookie mini-camp.

Britt worked at right tackle for the team during last week's rookie mini-camp and is expected to compete with T Michael Bowie for the starting job during training camp.

"He picked everything up," head coach Pete Carroll said. He’s very well prepared technique wise. He has real good footwork. His base is real good. His balance is real good for a big man. He moved well off of the line of scrimmage. He won’t have any trouble learning. It’s going to take some time, of course, but he won’t any trouble picking stuff up."
